Cashmere Knits Comparison | Part 1 Uniqlo Cashmere Review | Why Cashmere?

This month marks the opening of my sustainable recycled and upcycled online shop. Check out the shop link, where you will find a few items listed already. This week, Patreon subscribers have early access and discount in the Small Wardrobe shop. The shop will open to everyone else during the Easter weekend!

Yes, yes, I know I said that I would only be making one video per week this year, but in all the chaos in March, I just couldn’t help but make myself even more busy! So for the next couple of weeks, as well as receiving your weekly post, you will also get a little bonus series.

I’m sure you know by now that I love cashmere. For this reason I am making a three part video series comparing cashmere knits by three brands; Uniqlo, Grana and Everlane.

I have been meaning to do some reviews for quite some time, and I thought that this was the correct time, as I am going through another wardrobe purge. I told you guys earlier this year that I wouldn’t be making a wardrobe tour video just yet, and this is one of the reasons. I am going through a super volatile wardrobe stage. Who will be evicted next? Nobody knows! Cliffhanger!

To avoid this video become way too long, I am cutting it into three separate parts. I will speak about the pros and cons of each item in each video, and give you a final verdict on which I think is the best in the final part.

I am going to compare the three knits on the criteria below.

  • Ethics
  • Value
  • Quality
  • Comfort
  • Care
  • Warmth
  • Aesthetics

The video below is part one of my cashmere review series. Check out my YouTube channel for new videos about minimalism every week. Follow me on Instagram, where I record my minimalist outfits. Check me out on Facebook for resources and updates. I also have a Patreon account, where I post additional content weekly.
